Connie Lucille Bass was born on October 23, 1959, in Houston, Texas, and passed away at her home in Eudora, Kansas, on August 25, 2026. 

A resident of Eudora since 2017, Connie had a creative spirit and loved writing stories, plays, and books that she hoped would one day be published. Her imagination was engaging, and her perseverance and tenacity helped her overcome dyslexia as well as other health and life challenges. Connie loved movies and reading, and she was an avid cat lover who cared deeply for her own cats, others’ cats, and wild cats alike. Her hearty laugh and bright smile will be missed. 

She is survived by her brothers, Marvin and Vernon, along with many nieces and nephews.
