Obituary

Clevvy Joe Isnard, aged 91, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Kansas City. Born on October 1, 1933, Clevvy dedicated his life to service, both in his career and during his time in the Navy during the Korean War.

Following his military service, Clevvy established a significant presence in his community through his work as a meat cutter at Safeway and later as the owner of the A&W on Parallel Avenue in Kansas City, Ks. His commitment to his work and community was evident in the care he took in both roles.

Clevvy was a proud alumnus of Cherryvale High School and furthered his education at Pittsburgh Teachers College, which shaped his early professional life.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters, Sherry Cates and her husband Jim, and Marie Beach, her husband Bob and his brother Russell Isnard, and his wife Karen. His legacy continues through his five grandchildren: Julie Cates, Wendy Burke, Robin Cates, Levi Isnard, and Chloe Spitzer.

Clevvy was preceded in death by his parents, Clavelle and Leoria Isnard, his wife Mary Lou Isnard, and his son Jeff Isnard.

Details regarding memorial services are still pending. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in honor of Clevvy's commitment to community support. His life and service will be remembered by all who knew him.
