Obituary

Claude Richard (Arky) Wilson, 86 of Desoto, Kansas passed away peacefully from natural causes Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Olathe, Kansas. Claude was born April 29, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to Gladys's Fuller. He graduated from Norris High School in 1951. In 1954 he married Eula Darlene Ritter in Deepwater, Missouri. Claude started his own business in 1959; CR Wilson & Son's a local moving company where Claude worked alongside his family until retiring in 1999, later passing the business along to his eldest son Rick Wilson. Claude supported our country by serving several years in the Korean War. Claude enjoyed spending time on the Wilson farm in Humansville, MO. collecting and fixing up old cars and tractors. He loved life in the country spending time with family and friends. Claude is survived by his seven children; Rick Wilson, Gina Pratt, Tammy Best, Timothy Wilson, John Wilson, Sheila Chaney, and Claude Richard Wilson II, his 14 grandchildren, Katie Teutemacher, Shalyce Davis, Shannon Davis, Tracy Barnett, Josie Pratt, Rachel Porter, Alexis Best, Sabrina Toto, Samantha Granados, Macee Wilson, Jesse Wilson, Jayme Wilson, Ryan Chaney, Bryan Chaney and 18 great grandchildren. Surviving family members of Claude are Brother's Raymond Fuller, Gene Fuller and Sister's Barbara Robinson, Betty Butts and Mary White. Claude was preceded in death by his loving wife Eula Darlene Wilson in 1997, parent Gladys's Fuller, Brother Charles Fuller and Sister Francis Northcutt. Services A graveside service will be planned for Claude in the spring of 2019 where he will be laid to rest next to his late wife Eula Darlene Wilson.
