Cheryl "Sherry" King, affectionately known as "Nani," passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025, in Lee's Summit at the age of 64. Born on July 28, 1960, in Raytown, Sherry was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Sherry owned and operated her own successful cleaning business, where she not only provided impeccable service but also forged lasting connections with her clients and community. Her passion extended beyond work into various hobbies, including gardening and mowing the lawn, drawing and painting, and enjoying the timeless art of antiquing.

Family was the cornerstone of Sherry's life. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, a role she cherished above all else. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mari Jean Torello and James Torello, as well as her grandmother Zaidee Sparks, brother Dana Torello, aunt Barbara Armstrong, stepdaughter Jeany Whitaker, and sister-in-law Michelle Torello, Sherry is now reunited with those she held dear.

She leaves behind a loving family to celebrate her legacy: her husband Bruce King, sons Nick Somers, Travis Somers, and Spenser Hinkle, stepdaughter Angie McKenna, brothers Pat Torello and Mike Torello, three grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, along with cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sherry's joyful spirit and nurturing heart will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by everyone she touched. In honor of her life and the love she shared, a Celebration of Life will be held on April 6th from 1 pm to 5 pm, at 30501 E Outer Belt Rd Lees Summit Missouri 64096 . Friends and family can gather to share memories and celebrate her remarkable journey.

Her legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
