Charles Bruce "Skip" Lowery, age 73, passed away on July 7, 2022. Skip was born on August 30, 1948 to William and Dorothy Lowery in St. Charles, MO. He graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1966 and later in life graduated from Park University with a Bachelor's degree. He proudly served in the US Navy during Vietnam. On November 28, 1969 he married Susan Wilson in Nevada, MO. They were blessed with a son, William Earl on July 13, 1974, then a daughter Cheryl Marie on February 24, 1976. Skip worked for 30 years with General Motors at both the Leeds and Fairfax plants in Kansas City. During retirement he enjoyed going to the Lake of the Ozarks, traveling, and spending time with family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, numerous memories were made with them through travels and time at the lake. Skip is survived by his wife, Susan; son, William; daughter, Cheryl (Joe) Runnebaum; 5 grandchildren Dalton, Derek, and Danielle Runnebaum; Michael and Matthew Lowery. Brother, Ron (Judy) Lowery; nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Service A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
