Catherine Marie Parrish, 86 years of age, passed away at her home in Overland Park, Kansas in the early morning of July 2nd, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Known by her grandchildren as Grandma P, she was born February 16th, 1937, to Eula Boone and William Curtis. Catherine was raised by her mother and loving stepfather, Jack Parrish. Catherine enjoyed raising her 6 children with husband Donald Parrish. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, quilting, gardening, and her CB radio group. You could often find Catherine at her children's sporting events and camping. Catherine worked as a Bind Press Operator at Herff Jones, where she retired after 20+ years. From heaven, Catherine looks down upon her children Eugene Green, Diana Close, Lisa Taussig, Mark Green and wife Jeanna Green, Donnie Parrish and wife Cindy Parrish, and Son in law David Nelson. From her loving family she had 25 grandkids, 43 great-grandkids, and 8 great-great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents Eula and Jack, daughter Cathy Nelson, son-in-law Christopher Mayer, and granddaughter Lora Green.
