Carol Lee Green passed away on 4/18/2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Hershe and Pearl Eschliman. She leaves behind a sister, Linda, her daughter Lisa, and two grandchildren Gabriel and Maria. Carol graduated from William Jewell as a physicist and spent many years working as a scientist for Midwest Research Institute. She was very proud of being able to work with the military and with NASA. She loved gardening, animals, genealogy, history, music, math, puzzles, and giving to charity for various causes, especially veterans causes. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution [D. A. R]. She will be greatly missed. Memorial Contributions In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to the Veterans Community Project of Kansas City. This is a worthwhile organization she was very fond of.
