Carl Thomas "Tom" Owen, 86, of Olathe, KS passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021. Tom was born in Stone Mountain, GA to Carl and Frances Owen. He married Judy Wagner in 1967, and they made their home in Douglasville, GA until 1989 when work brought the family to Kansas. Tom was employed by Dymon for several years. After retiring, he and Judy lived in Florida until moving back to Kansas in 2006 to be near their daughters and grandchildren. Tom was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed many road trips with friends throughout the years. Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judy Owen of Olathe, KS and his two daughters; Diana Owen-Emerson and her husband Patrick Emerson of Olathe, KS; and Joanna Owen of Prairie Village, KS. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren Sophia and Nate, whom he adored, and his beloved dog Harvey. Service A private service in Georgia will be held at a later date.
