Carl Welch, 67, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away October 14, 2011. Carl was a dedicated father and grandfather. He was a former pitcher scouted by three major league teams at the age of 16. He went on to pitch for the University of Michigan. He was the #1 salesman for multiple corporations throughout his career. Carl is survived by his mother Peggy Welch, his wife Jeannie, four children; Keven (Kim), Craig, Courtney, Kasey, and four granddaughters; Olivia, Alala, Sophia, and Ella. He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Loose Park Outdoor Pavilion, Friday, October 21 from 2 to 7 pm.
