Bruce T. Hughart, age 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on July 5, 2024, due to heart failure. Born in Glendale, California, on May 6, 1947, Bruce led a life filled with diverse experiences and passions.

Throughout his lifetime, Bruce held many jobs, each contributing to a rich tapestry of work that defined his industrious nature. His interests were varied and dear to him; he had a particular fondness for restoring cars, especially the cherished project of restoring a 1969 Corvette with Christian Eickhoff. Bruce also loved cats, found joy in reading Clive Cussler books, and spent many enjoyable hours watching the History Channel.

In addition to his personal pursuits, Bruce was actively involved in the National and State Republican Committee and was a member of the NRA. He was a man of strong convictions and community spirit.

He is preceded in death by his father, William O. Hughart, his mother, Ruth Lois Wandling, and his cousin, Kathryn Kennedy. Bruce leaves behind his brother, Neil Hughart, and his life partner, Patricia A. Walker, who will both deeply miss him.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Louisburg Cemetery, 865 W. Amity St., Louisburg, Kansas, with a luncheon immediately following at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, 5 S. 8th St., Louisburg, Kansas.
