Brad
Alexander
Nov 4, 1965 — Dec 16, 2024
Brad Alexander, a gifted handyman and devoted family man, passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 59 in Merriam, Kansas, due to cardiac arrest. Born on November 4, 1965, in Riverside, California, Brad lived a life full of love, music, and service.
He graduated from Shawnee Mission North in 1984 and went on to earn his degree from Kansas State University in 1989. Brad was known for his extraordinary skills as a handyman, bringing joy and warmth to the many homes he worked on throughout his career. His passion for music, particularly bluegrass, was evident in the way he played the guitar and banjo, often filling gatherings with melody and cheer. Yet, above all, he cherished spending time with his family.
Brad is preceded in death by his loving father, Scott R. Alexander, and grandparents Ruby and Virgil Lasater, Maxine Haas, and Leonard Alexander. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his surviving family: his son Clayton Alexander and wife Bianca, daughters Hannah Haney and husband Jackson, and Ashlyn Alexander. He was a proud grandfather to Harper, Jonah, and Killian. Brad is also survived by his mother, Jan Alexander and her husband Mike Duggan, his brother Brent Alexander and wife Ann, and sister Heather Thill and husband Tony.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Brad's life on Sunday, April 27 at 2 pm at the Community Covenant Church in Lenexa, Kansas. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
