Bonnie Jeanne Tennant, 82, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026.

Bonnie was born on June 10, 1943, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Hugh and Barbara “Peg” Tennant. She spent most of her life in the Council Bluffs area before spending her final years near Kansas City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Peggy Tennant.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Roger) Witkovski, Joie (Michael) Bermes, and Missy (James) Murphy,  six grandchildren,  sister Kathy Pearce, nieces, and nephews.  She is lovingly remembered by many other extended family members and friends, whom she treasured.

Bonnie will continue to be remembered for her creativity and her determined faith. She found great joy in art and music and staying active in a church community.

Family and friends are invited to gather in Bonnie’s honor for a flow-through reception on July 18, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Victory Fellowship Church, 2111 23rd Avenue, Council Bluffs, IA 51503.
