Robert (Bob) G. Baker of Leawood, Kansas passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023 at the age of 94, just 1 week before his 95th birthday

Bob was born October 4, 1928 in Garden City, Mo to Rev Robert H & Weltha Baker.  He spent his youth mostly in Springfield, MO where he graduated from Central High School & attended Missouri State College. Bob served in the United States Naval Reserves for 8 years. He moved to Kansas City where he attended a Veterans Architectural School and started his career as an Architect. After retirement he had a variety of jobs, one of which was at Ranch Mart Ace Hardware Store in Overland Park, KS.  He was a member of United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty, brothers Raymond & Huber and sisters Fern & Cletis. He is survived by his daughters Donna (Mike) Baker Simpson of Columbia, MO and Janet Baker Paquette of Pinckney, MI and son Bradley (Rovy Cabacungan) Baker of Vallejo, CA, niece Caroline (Baker) Gilmore, step-niece Susan Cotton. He was grandfather to Andy, Amanda, Jessica, Cory, Brandon, Abby & Eliana, and had 12 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 1:00pm at Sunrise of Leawood, Assisted Living Facility 11661 Granada Rd, Leawood, KS 2nd floor club room.
