On February 16, 2021 Betty Nadine Hamner stepped into her eternal home. Born December 14, 1928 to Walter and Ruth Thoeni she was the oldest of 9 children. Nadine was married to Lonnie W. Hamner for 62 years until his death on September 7, 2017. She is survived by daughter Vicki Bass (Marvin spouse), son Wade Hamner, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 5 siblings. Her love of children led her to home based childcare for over 25 years. Her love and compassion for people created a nurturing environment in her neighborhood that spanned decades. A celebration of her life will be held on July 24th, 2021 at the Sylvester Powell Community Center from 11:30am to 3:30pm.
