Bethany Ann (Heaviland) Smith, 52, Lee's Summit, MO passed away August 30, 2014 at her home. Beth was born March 31, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan, to David L. and Lou Ann Heaviland. She is survived by her parents, Lee's Summit; her husband, Mark Smith of the home. Family includes her children, Lauren, Aaron and Tyler Hudspeth; step children Bailey and Madison Smith. Siblings David S. (Sara Beth) Heaviland ; Jill N. (Rod) Smith. aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Beth was a dedicated x-ray technician at St. Luke's Hospital, K. C. , Mo for thirty years and enjoyed working with all the close-friend co- workers and doctors. She was a member of the Lee's Summit United Methodist Church; the Deborah- Rachel Fellowship and P. E. O. Sisterhood, Chapter MU. Beth's Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 pm and the Visitation will be from 1:00-2:30pm on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Community of Christ Church, 1101 NE Independence Ave. , Lee's Summit, (the church is directly across from Wal-Mart).
