Belle Underhill, age 64, of Overland Park, Kansas, died July 21, 2014 of cancer. Her last days on earth were made comfortable by the compassionate, caring staff of Kansas City Hospice. Belle was born December 31, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jeanne Tyler Moore and Harold Underhill. She graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City in 1967. She was married to Phil Russell Greathouse, and they later divorced. Belle attended school at the University of Missouri Kansas City, Southwest Missouri State University and Del Mar College in Texas. She is survived by her daughter, Maggie Greathouse (Scott) Endsley and her two grandchildren, Lily and Spencer Endsley, all of Shawnee, Kansas. She is also survived by her brothers, Luke Underhill, Jeff Underhill of Florida, Sam Underhill of Venezuela, and Joseph Alexander of Florida. She was predeceased by her mother, Jeanne Tyler Moore and her stepfather, Phillip W. Moore, both of Corpus Christi, Texas and her father, Harold Underhill. At her request, there will be no services.
