Barbara Kellogg, born January 9, 1941, in East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 84. Her departure was due to a cancer-related stroke, and she was surrounded by her family and loved ones during her final moments.

Barbara dedicated her career to healthcare administration, where her compassion and dedication left a lasting impact on those she worked with and served. Beyond her professional life, she found joy in reading and cherished the company of her beloved dog, Bobo.

A woman of faith, Barbara was an active member of Unity Church and participated in the John Knox Theater Group, where she enjoyed fellowship and shared her love for the arts. Her gentle spirit and kind-hearted nature will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Kellogg. She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her dearly: sister Evelyn; her sons Mike (Laurie) and Duane (Tracy) Benz; her cherished grandchildren Aaron (Andrea), Abby, Courtney (Kyle), Allison, Tyler, Analise, and Alayna. Her presence was a guiding light for her family, and her love will continue to inspire them.

A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Filmore Chapel, Unity Village, Lees Summit, Missouri. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory and share in the celebration of her life.

Barbara Kellogg will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her devotion to her family, and her enduring strength. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her.
