Avelina Francis, 86, of Gardner, Kansas, passed away October 20, 2011 at the Kansas City Hospice House. She was born April 17, 1925 in Louzon, The Philippines, daughter of Hilario and Monica Guzman Lugma. No services are planned. Avelina is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Sandy Francis, three grandchildren; Dylan (and wife, Samantha), Danielle and Dalton Francis, one great-granddaughter, Hayleigh Francis and her brother, Robert Francis.
