She was greeted by older sister Crystal when she arrived, and only 19 months apart they were close from the start. Step-fathers Christopher E. Soph who adopted the girls in grade school, and later Gary L. Bowling, both played a large part in their lives which included adding more family members Ashea remained close to. She had three children; Alexis D. Finch of Ottawa, Zachary T. Finch of Ottawa, and Jacquelynn D. Goad of Ottawa. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1998 and lived briefly in Lawrence, KS, Kansas City, MO, and West Plains, MO, but spent most of her life in Ottawa. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Minnie Capp Butler, mother JuLee Butler Bowling, grandfather A. Lee Butler, and brother-in-law Michael S. Emery. She is survived by her three children: Alexis, Zach, and Jacee; fathers Ralph Cochrane and Christopher Soph; sister Crystal Soph; step-siblings Brandy Johnson, Joshua Bowling, and Jenny Bowling; brother-in-law William Pike, uncles Brett Butler (Martha), Brian Butler (Jami), and Kirby Soph (Susan); cousins Kevin Butler (Corinne), Brooke Sheets (Chad), Tiona O'Reilly (Michael), and Angie Lusby (Joe); nephews Camden Johnson, Holden Pike, and Kingston Sitlington; niece Cheyenne Kindhart (Kyle); and grandmother June Butler. Asheá worked mostly in the accounting field for many local businesses, her most remembered being Butlers Florist, McGrew Real Estate, and Kansas City Tax Mediation with her sister, but most recently had started a career in life and health insurance and was working very hard to build her business in this field. She was well known for being a social butterfly, making friends everywhere she went and never turning down time to spend with them whenever she could. Her smile was infectious, her humor was dry and witty, and her boisterous laugh could be heard above the chatter of any crowded room. She enjoyed cooking and created incredible meals for family and friends, hosting dinner parties, the monthly "coffee conclave," and delivering huge portions of prepared meals for anyone who was in need. She was gluten-free and proud and took her health and nutrition very seriously. She poured her huge, caring heart into her food and that was how you knew she loved you… she cooked for you. Asheá was fiercely loyal and protective of her children and those in her circle. She always had their back, even if she didn't agree with their decisions, and had no reservations of speaking her mind. She cared deeply for her friends and family and always made sure to keep in touch, spend time together, and nurture the important relationships in her life, even when busy schedules made it difficult.
