He was part of a variety of social activities, including being part of The Oldsmobile Club and MSRA, attending hot rod events around the nation. He was an active part of his Round Hill community and a vocal supporter of Wichita State basketball. He is survived by his wife, Karen; his two siblings Donald Anderson (Diane) of Stillwater, MN and Laurel Street of Roeland Park, KS; his son, Chris Anderson (Caroline) of Olathe and stepson Russell Fox of Grain Valley; three grandchildren (Elizabeth and Emily Anderson, Jonathan Stivers) and one great-grandchild (Nicholas Stivers); two nephews (Garrett Street, and Jason Anderson) and one niece (Jessica Anderson). A private service will be held February 17, followed by a celebration of life with dinner at Birdie's Pub and Grill at 8889 W 75th St. in Overland Park at 5:00 p. m.
