Anne Louise Flatland was born on May 7th, 1933, in Constantine, Michigan, to Olaf and Helen Flatland. Anne had three siblings - Nancy (Norman Monroe), Jerry (Sandy), and Tom (Bobbie). She grew up in Constantine and spent summers at the family cottage at nearby Corey Lake. Anne studied to become a dental hygienist at Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois.   It was at Corey Lake that Anne met Howard (Tad) Voss and they would marry in December 1957. They settled in the Chicago suburb of Northbrook and had two children - Karen, and Andrew. The family moved to Winnetka, Illinois where Kimberly was born.    Anne was a wonderful '60s stay-at-home mom - overseeing three active school kids and coordinating summer trips to Corey Lake and other Midwest destinations where she taught the kids her fishing secrets. Her social calendar was active with bridge nights, neighborhood activities, and epic theme parties. She took up golfing and sported her favorite Lady Walter Hagen clubs fondly!   After a move to Glencoe in 1973, Anne and Tad split. Anne moved back to Northbrook and became a dental hygienist in nearby Glenview, where she was a patient favorite. She moved one town over to Northfield, and to a dental practice in Evanston, where she was equally loved. Anne retired in 1993.   Anne is survived by Karen of Kansas City, Missouri, Andy (Amy) of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and Kim (Scott Matthes) of Florida. Anne was grandmother to Andy and Amy's sons -  Jared (deceased) and Daniel, and Kim and Scott's children - Ariele, Tessa, Jake (fiancee Carly) and Alison.   Anne lived near Kim in Florida for several years, then with Karen in Kansas City. She spent her final days in Kansas City at the Armour Oaks nursing facility - once again, a favorite resident with her sarcastic wit and sassiness! She will be missed and loved forever.
