Anna Ruth Kice died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her home in Lenexa, Kansas surrounded by her family and caregivers. Ruth was born 10th of 13 children on January 13, 1916 in Putnam, Ok. , to parents Leon and Mary Jones and was raised in Oklahoma and Arkansas. She graduated high school in Oklahoma and moved to Wichita, Kansas to attend business college. In Wichita, she met the love of her life, Jack W. Kice, and married him on New Year's Day, 1937. Ruth was a devoted wife to Jack and mother to 3 children; Richard Kice, Mary Ann Laudermilk and John Kice. In her lifetime she enjoyed her entire family and her friends, her church (Mt. Vernon Presbyterian church), much travel, playing bridge, gardening and playing the piano and organ. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, daughter Mary Ann, her parents ,and 12 siblings. She leaves behind her sons; Richard and wife Norma, John and wife Susan, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
