Angela Marie Richardson, 41, of Kansas City, Missouri, who was diagnosed with cancer in March of 2014, passed away October 17, 2014 at her home. Angie was born October 22, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas, daughter of William and Donna DeDonder. She was raised in St. Marys, Kansas and graduated from St. Marys High School in 1991. Angie also graduated from the University of Kansas in May of 1997 with a BA in Biology. She was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and KU's Honor Program. In June of 2007, she received her MBA from Baker University in Overland Park, KS. She was a Human Resource leader in the Health Service industry with extensive experience in Recruitment, Training & Development, Employee Relations & Operations. For the past ten years, she was employed by Gentiva Health Services in Overland Park, KS. Angie was an active leader in the National Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Angie was a die-hard KU Jayhawk fan who loved dogs, was an avid book reader and enjoyed traveling. Angie displayed a dry, unique sense of humor and was always surrounded by close friends. Most of all, Angie loved spending time with her family, especially her son, Henry. Angie is survived by her husband, Dan, her two year old son, Henry, her parents, Bill and Donna DeDonder, Dan's parents, Ron and Nancy Richardson, her brother, Mark and extended family. The celebration of Angie's life will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2014. The Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm at Second Presbyterian Church (318 E. 55th St. , Kansas City, MO). Immediately following the Memorial Service, please join us for the Celebration of Life Reception at Grand Street Cafe (4740 Grand Avenue, Kansas City, MO on the Country Club Plaza).
