Retired Sergeant Alva K. Eubank, who retired from the department on December 26, 1996, passed away on July 20, 2026.

Retired Sergeant Eubank was born October 23, 1948, and was 77 years of age at the time of his death.  Retired Sergeant Eubank was appointed to the department February 1, 1971.  His assignments included South Patrol Division, Crime Information Unit, Metro Patrol Division, Field Services Bureau, Audit Division, Audit Unit, and Juvenile Section, where he was assigned at the time of his retirement.

Retired Sergeant Eubank is survived by his wife Nancy Eubank; son Rick Eubank; daughters Madison Eubanka nd Emily Eubank. Also surviving are siblings Mike Eubank, Sandy Eubank, Randy Eubank and Nancy Lascala.

There are no formal funeral plans.
