Obituary

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Alejandrina Ruby

Najera, affectionately known as Ali, who departed this world far too soon on July 11,

2026, at the age of 21. Born on September 9, 2004, in Lee's Summit, MO, Ali brought

boundless joy and inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ali's life, though brief, was filled with vibrant colors, much like the confetti she loved to

cut. Her passion for school was evident, always striving for academic excellence, a

testament to her dedication and love of learning. Ali's world was one of wonder, where

butterflies danced freely, unicorns roamed majestically, and princesses reigned with

grace. She cherished her time watching TV, engaging in shenanigans, and, most

importantly, spending precious moments with her beloved family.

Her spirited nature often found her bossing her mom around, a testament to her strong

will and vibrant personality. Ali's laughter and light-hearted mischief will forever echo in

the hearts of those who knew her.

Ali is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Wanda Beeler, and great-

grandfather, Warren (Stanley) Drury. She leaves behind a loving family who will

continue to celebrate her legacy: her mother, Tianna Morgan; stepfather, Robert

Morgan; father, Pedro Rueda-Najera (Nicole); sisters, Haley Sandefer (Lane) and

Yoseline Najera Weir; brothers, David Najera, Michael Morgan, and Austin Morgan;

nephews, Weston, Waylon, and Elias; uncles, Joshua Hobbs (Nicole) and Jeffrey

Hobbs; grandparents, Michael and Stangela Harris; and great-grandparents, Benny and

Debbie Harris, Linda and Charles Odell. Ali's extended family includes step-

grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom were touched by her

radiant spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6, 2026, from 1 pm to 6 pm at The

National Agriculture Center and Hall of Fame - Smith Event Barn, located at 630 N.

126th Street, Bonner Springs, Kansas 66012. Family and friends are invited to gather in

remembrance of Ali's incredible life and the indelible mark she left on us all.
