Born: March 16, 1953 Died: December 21, 2017 Abrahan Velasquez was born in Guatemala to Francisco Velasquez and Maria del Rosario Chang. He was a noble man who always looked to help, care, and love family, friends, and those around him. He was a generous man. He always worked hard to provide for his family, going above and beyond to care for them. He married Zandra Barrios on May 21, 1983. She survives. He is also survived by his children, Dulce Cadogan, Idania Sanchez, Marlyn Thomas, Samuel Velasquez, and Blessing Velasquez; his much loved grandkids, Ziraili Sanchez, Jeziah Sanchez, Aiden Thomas, and Elaina Thomas; and sons in-law, Israel Sanchez, James Thomas, and Diego Cadogan. He was a much loved husband, daddy, grandfather, son in-law, brother, and friend. He will be missed much by all and will live in our hearts forever. Abrahan was diagnosed early November 2017 of stage 4 cancer. He fought bravely. His family is very proud of him because of his faith in God and courage while going through his chemotherapy treatment. Though cancer may have ended his life on earth, his soul rests in peace with God in eternity. He is now dwelling with our Heavenly Father in a much better place. Revelations 21:4 - He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death, mourning, crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
