Melvin Gearon, 82, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away December 2, 2010 at home. A  Memorial Service will be held at Life Spring Christian Church, 6101 Topping Avenue,  Kansas City, Missouri at 7 pm, Monday, December 13, 2010. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Salvation Army. Melvin was born in Chicago on April 11, 1928 and was a machinist and carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Alberta.  He will be missed by 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and his many friends.
