Martha J. Alexander (Embree) Reffett
Martha J Alexander (Embree) Reffett went to be with the lord as she peacefully Passed Nov 29th, 2021 from complications with Lung cancer. Her daughters Terri and Kerri were able to be there with her.
Martha was born in Columbia, MO and grew up in Sturgeon, MO. She went to school in Centralia and Mexico, Missouri.
When she married Henry Embree she moved to Madison, MO where she lived off YY on a farm for many years with Henry and her daughters.
She spent the rest of her life in Moberly until she moved to Overland Park, KS 3 yrs ago to live with Terri and her husband Dean Torkkola, where she enjoyed more time with her family and we got to go on a few adventures that we all enjoyed very much.
Mother knew lots of people in Moberly due to her many years managing and owning restaurants “Sam and Kates” in Huntsville, “The Deadwood ” and “Westside”.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband Roland Reffett, her siblings JT Alexander and Marianne Holifield, her parents and her grandson Trentin A. Donaldson.
She leaves behind her daughters Terri Hirlinger( Dean) Kerri (Pete )Prescotte, Lisa(Larry) Otto and son Randy Reffett, grandchildren Jeremy Brockman (Erin), Taylor, and Tyler Hirlinger, Cameron Krull, Justin Leake, Miranda, and Zack Reffett. Great grandchildren Tanner, Brody, Tierra (Thomas) Brockman and great great grand daughter Rosabelle (Rosie). Many nieces and nephews.
