Margaret “Peggy” M. Moore
Peggy Moore, 76, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away January 6, 2012 at Carondelet Manor in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was born January 5, 1936 in Niles, Ohio, daughter of Felix F. and Dorothy G. Kramer. Peggy graduated from Youngstown State University and taught elementary school for many years. She retired from St. Bernadette’s Church and School as a teacher and the Director of Religion. Peggy loved all things Irish, had a great sense of humor and was a loving and selfless mom and grandma. She put her family first and always said “if you don’t have your family, you don’t have anything.”
Peggy is survived by her four children; John G. (Christi) Moore, Noreen A. Albert, Susan E. Wicks and Kathleen A. Moore, six grandchildren, Amy M. Albert, Cory J. Albert, Courtney A. Moore, Alex C. Moore, Brendan A. Freed and Jaden G. Moore, one great-granddaughter Abigail A. Freed and a sister-in-law, Nancy Kramer. She was preceded in death by her brother Felix F. Kramer, Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 9:30 am, Friday, January 13, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 85th and Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO. A visitation will precede the Mass beginning at 8:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Carondolet Manor or Catholic Charities.
