    Mr. Stoneburner and David,

Thank you and Mrs. Stoneburner for embracing me into your family. Growing up as neighbors and friends and then literally taking me into your home during summers in the Outer Banks was more then generous; it was gracious, for I did nothing to deserve such kindness. I have fond memories of Mrs. Stoneburner nurturing and mentoring me as a teenager and young man… always patient and loving despite my acting like a teenager and young man. My prayers for healing and stillness continue for both of you, as well of my prayers of thanks for the blessing of being a part of Mrs. Stoneburner’s and your lives. Your Friend, Chris

I’m so sorry for your loss. I was very shocked to read to obit. The Christmas stockings Marcia made for me and my girls will long be a reminder of her talents and generosity. Sincere sympathy to you and your family.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Marcia. What fond memories we have of meeting Marcia and Dwight on board the QM2’s voyage to Rio de Janerio for Carnival. She was an instant friend. We stayed in touch through emails and Christmas card exchanges. Marcia’s love for her grandchildren made me look forward to the day we would become grandparents.
May she rest in eternal peace.
