I just learned of your mother’s death. I’m shocked and so sad to learn of this news. I was your mother’s roommate in college and later, you had come to my house several times to visit. Your mother and I lost touch after she left Chicago but still occasionally emailed with news. Whenever she emailed me, it was always about you 3 and then the grandkids. I have wonderful memories of your mother in college and then after. I miss her and her beautiful smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Dear kids,(And I mean all)
I have never been so impressed by someone so young bering this burden of losing your mom at a young age. All of you are her testament. She gave us all a great gift and showed us how it works. A big heart and wonderful compassion. Many people read how to follow in Christ’s foot steps and at times succeed. Her feet were firmly inplanted in His every step. Don’t forget that in your life’s journey.
I know she is with us and she left a simple sign. We tried to get on an earlier flight home Sunday. The attendant gave us standby passes and said the flight was over booked and other stand-by’s were in front. We would never get 3 stand-by’s on board.
The other attendant that called us for the 3 seats that became available said that never happens. OK. Call it coincidence. I’ll call it, Mady. So when that baby comes, Ryan, hold the babe up in the air toward heaven so your mother can get a real good look.
    We’ll stay in touch .
    Uncle Owen

    Shawn,Ryan and Shannon,
I had the pleasure of working with and knowing your Mom over 18 years. I recall her bringing these beautiful dress’s that your Dad had sewn and being so pleased at how Beautiful they were on you, Shannon. She talked of the three of you with so much Love. She was excited about the recent wedding and upcoming GrandChild. I was blessed to have known your Mom and I know she loved and was proud of each of you.
