Luis Rodriquez 80. Born in San Antonio, Texas 1940. At a young age he moved to Kansas City, KS where he spent most of his life and bought his home for his wife and newborn children. He was a hard working man that enjoyed old westerns, fishing, camping, and tinkering around the house or under the hood of a car. He certainly knew his way around a tool box. Later in life he became a teamster and obtained his CDL and was an over the road truck driver. He logged in countless miles while providing for his family and with his wife Sylvia by his side saw the beauty and natural wonders life on the open road offers.
Luis was a man’s man with no filter. But…he had an amazing sense of humor and a heart of gold. Always willing to help. Always trying to make others laugh. He had a kindness in his eyes that could be felt by those who knew him. Those who knew him, loved and respected him. He treated everyone with respect and dignity no matter their status. A rare breed. You will be missed and always remembered fondly. Everyone that knew him surely has an interesting “Luis story”.
