Linda Darlene Paul

Linda Darlene Paul, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital following complications with pneumonia.
Linda was a retired registered nurse, having worked as a Hospital Administrator and as a Hospice nurse. She also worked with Nurse Line in Smithville, MO before health issues forced her retirement. She was a loving and caring person, making nursing a great career choice for her! Over the years, she also had a seamstress business.

A graveside service will be held on August 14, 2010 at the Valley View Cemetery on North 3rd Street in Garden City, Kansas.

Linda raised dogs, (Shit-Zu) and she worked with the Youth and Bible Studies in church. She also enjoyed gardening with a “natural green thumb”, music, reading, dancing, walking, knitting, quilting, butterflies and catching fire flies. Once she and her brother caught so many they put them in a jar and it looked like a lantern. Linda was a member of Gloria dei Church, Kansas City, MO.

Linda was preceded in death by her daddy, James R. Boman and her mom, Mae Irene Boman who she cared for until their deaths. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Ron Paul, her daughter Jennifer, brother Roger (Shirley), three nieces and one nephew.

Linda was not only my friend in school and neighbor in Garden City, she was simply put a wonderful person! I will always remember her lovely smile! One of the best gifts I had received when my son was born was a baby bassinet that Linda brought over to my house, directly across from her parents home on Anderson St. She was just visiting and said she just had to bring it even though she would be home for just the weekend. What an Angel she is! My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
    Heartfelt sympathy,
    Brenda Kinney
