Leona Marie Christian (Gesiriech), Lee to most of us, 69, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on 11/23/21 after a tough battle with covid.

Leona was born on December 12, 1952 to Aleta Ehmen(Gesiriech) and Edward Gesiriech of Lincoln, NE. After attending Lincoln High, she moved out east.That is where she met Harold “Chuck” Christian, and they married, going on to have 1 child, Angela. 

After they moved back to Lincoln, she landed her job with HyVee, kicking off a 33 year 6 month career in different departments within the store. They relocated to Olathe, KS in 1991. In 2019 they moved to Lee’s Summit, MO. 

After retiring in 2018, Leona spent her time on crafts, sewing, shopping, and all her poochies. She loved to travel, especially back out to the east coast. 

Leona was predeceased by her mother, father, step father,and three brothers. She is survived by 2 sisters, a brother and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She will be missed by all her family and friends.
