Lambert Lee O’Neal, Sr., 85, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on November 23, 2015 at his home.  He was born May 26, 1930 to Carl R and Verna O’Neal in Ratcliff, Arkansas.

Bert is survived by his wife, Glayda, five children; Pam Schleif, Pat Niner, Cynthia Williams, Lambert Lee O’Neal, Jr., and Donnie Manning, nine grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren.

Bert served in the Army during the Korean War and retired as a concrete truck driver from Fordyce Concrete in 1993 after 31 years.

The family will receive guests at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Grace Family Fellowship in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.  A Celebration of Bert’s life will begin at 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania, Kansas City, Missouri.

    I am grateful for the life of Mr. O’Neal. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

    Bert was a great guy to work with, and just a good person to have a conversation with. He will be missed. Our thoughts go out to Glayda and her family.

    Love that crazy, wonderful man! I can’t begin to list all the wonderful memories I have of Bert, but I can tell you this, he will hold a place in my heart forever! Prayers and love for all of you!
