Kevin Day Gilpin

Kevin D. Gilpin, 48, of Olathe, KS passed on Thursday October 17, 2019 at his home.

Kevin was born April 7^th, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana and was the son of Patricia Williams and Danny Lloyd Gilpin.

Kevin and Kata have been together since 2004 sharing their lives.

Kevin enjoyed going on canoe trips with a number of friends. He spent time with his dog, Romeo, as they were best friends. During his life Kevin really enjoyed doing mud runs and racing cars on dirt tracks. He had his own his own mud truck along with his race car which he drove in many races. Kevin was a workaholic, tending to back yard projects that he and Kata did together doing many things to improve their home. Kevin worked for himself as a Sub Contractor and had many years with GCP IV Management, LLC.

Kevin Gilpin is proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother, Eileen Gilpin and Grandfather Lloyd Gilpin. 

Kevin is survived by his loyal companion Kata Tsouras; four children: Trever Gilpin (Ashlee Burdick), Cody Gilpin, Samantha Tsouras and Kourtney Underwood; grandchildren: Carsen Gilpin, Greyson Gilpin, Ayden Lee Gilpin; siblings: Dean Gilpin, Danielle Gilpin and Jeff Brown; father: Dan Gilpin (Marilyn Gilpin).

Service

Kevin’s celebration of life will be held Sunday, October 27^th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, 4726 Merriam Drive, Overland Park, KS 66203.
