Linduff, Kathy

Kathy Lynn Linduff, 56, of Bonner Springs, Kansas died at 11:05 p.m. at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas on August 14, 2015.  Kathy was born on March 14, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Joy and the late Harry Linduff.

Kathy loved God and was a faithful member of Lenexa Baptist Church. Kathy had a great capacity to love others and enjoyed her family immensely. Her nieces, nephews, and great-nephews were the pride of her life. Kathy had a very giving heart and shared generously with those around her. Kathy worked hard her entire life being employed by Best Products, Federal Reserve, Circuit City, and Citi Bank. She will me greatly missed by her family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Joy Linduff; three siblings and their families: Bill, Janet, Ryan, Brooklyn, and Silas Linduff; Richard, Jacklyn, Nathan, Amanda, Jude, and Jonathan Wright; Rashaad and Angela Brown-Peterson; Randy, Penny, and Harrison Linduff; Holly, Tavis, and Brayden Hackathorn. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Harry Albert Linduff.

Memorial services will be at Lenexa Baptist Church in Lenexa, Kansas on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to Providence Medical Center to honor the great care she received from the staff during her many recent stays.

I knew Kathy at Monument Heights Baptist Church when we were both a part of the young adult group. We played together, sang together, prayed together and worked hard together, too. Whatever we did was fun. I have some great memories of her and it saddens me to know she’s gone. We heard many stories of her nieces and nephews. She was so proud of you. My heart goes out to all of Kathy’s family, who she loved so much.

Kathy you will be missed! Your smile and laughter was contagious! We had so much fun when we played Bunco together! We all enjoyed your sweets, we never had to worry who was bringing desert! You are loved!

Kathy was a beautiful person, inside and out. This saddens me to hear of this news, but I will always remember her. She was a good friend. I met her in 1989 in Richmond, VA. and has always been such a woman of God. My prayers and love are with her family.

I knew Kathy from Citi and had the pleasure of her presence in two different departments. She always had a smile on her face and was very friendly and helpful. I will miss her, but know she had a joy in her savior, and His will be the next face she sees.

I have just learned of Kathy passing. My prayers are with the Linduff family during their loss. I also had the privilege of working with Kathy at Citibank. Kathy was a true woman of God, with her giving heart and loving spirt. This is a homegoing for Kathy, but she will be missed.

To the Linduff family, Praying that you will find comfort in knowing that Kathy is with her heavenly father. Kathy was my manager at Circuit City Stores. She was more than a manager, she was a great friend and will be missed. God bless you all and I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet such a nice person.

So very sorry for your loss. Our families spent so many great times together when we all lived in Minnesota. Those are the times I will remember with Kathy – as a very enthusiastic teenager. Love to all of you. Letha Howell

    Dear Linduff Family,

You are in my thoughts and prayers during your time of loss. Kathy was a great friend and we had many fun times together. She introduced me to ‘monster cookies’ and they are an absolute hit whenever I make them. She will be missed by many.
