I first met Karla at boot camp. We were in the same flight and suffered thru it together. She was a good friend to me when I got recycled out and always offered me an “its not that bad smile”, and it wasn’t. I later joined Karla at tech school but lost contact when going to our first assignments but we later reconnected thru Jodi. I got my first tatoo with Karla…we share the “Flying Unipanther”. I have great memories of the time we shared and miss her very much. Peace and Love Karla 🙂

I’ve known Karla since 1991 from tech school at Chanute AFB. We were at our first base together. We lost touch for a little while then I sent her a letter out of the blue and she replied. We’ve been in touch ever since. When I was stationed at Tinker we got to see each other quite a bit. She would come down to visit or I would go up there. I’ve even seen her a few times since I’ve been in CA. I used to look forward to meeting up on yahoo messenger and then playing games. She always whooped me on the word games. 🙂 She will be missed and fondly remembered.
