After Kinsley, she ran a restaurant in Ellis, KS before moving to the Kansas City area where she was known for her Thursday special of Fried Chicken. When she decided to retire, she moved to Arizona to enjoy the heat. She loved to cook, bake and the family really enjoyed her handmade rolls around the holidays. Most of all she looked forward to time with her family and friends whenever possible.
Judi was a wonderful mother, a beloved sister, aunt, and grandmother. She was kind, caring, patient, and loving. She had a great sense of humor and would always make you laugh. She loved music and would always sing along and dance if she could. She enjoyed reading books as well. She had an amazing soul and her love will always shine on through the people she loved.
