Johnny Lee Platt Jr. (37) was born January 22nd, 1984 to John and Christine Platt of Walcott, IA. Johnny grew up in Walcott, enjoying small town perks with friends that became brothers and cousins that became life-long friends.

Johnny had a dedicated and decorated career in public safety. His end of watch was January 11th, 2022 as the Deputy Director with Johnson County Emergency Management & Communications in Kansas City, KS.

Left to celebrate his legacy of love + laughter are his parents, John and Christine Platt of Muscatine, IA; sister Jenna (Brandyn) Cobb and niece Aubree of Norway, IA; his four legged companion, Cash; numerous family members and incredible friends.
