John Cecil Herzog

John Cecil Herzog, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 18, 1939 in Osage City, Kansas. He married Margaret Ray on May 22, 1987 and she survives of the home.
Graveside services will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 4, 2012.
Other survivors include three sons, Randy of Missouri, Jimmy of Topeka, Greg of Kansas, a daughter Nancy Thompson of England, two step-daughters, Kim Hatch of Oskaloosa, Tammy Pike of Georgia and a step-son Dean Wampler of Lawrence. He is survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a great-grandson due December 9, 2012. Also survived by three sisters Marilyn Jennings of Osage, Lynda Trebbe of Oklahoma and Donna Shoemate of Scranton, a brother Robert of Texas and a special niece Robin Herzog of Lawrence.

and when i was in burlington he drives all the way and to pick me up when we said we hundryy or thirty he stop with out saying no

Mom I am so sorry you lost the love of your life and the man that mad you happy for the last 25 years. I am glad you met John and he made you happy for 25 long years. I love you Mom.
