Jessica Monique Peil

in-loving-memory

Jessica Monique Peil (formerly Jessica Monique Smith) passed from life on earth to life eternal on September 13th 2010 in Kansas City, Missouri, following a four-year battle with cancer. She was born on May 30, 1992 in Kansas City, Missouri. She lived in several communities in Missouri and Kansas, most recently Parsons and then Overland Park. She was a senior at Shawnee Mission North High School. She loved to work and had two jobs – one at Lakeview Village and one at the Whole Child Development Center, both in Lenexa. Jessica was an extraordinary young woman with a beautiful smile and a deep sweetness despite the difficulties she faced. In accordance with Jessica’s wishes, her remains were cremated and the ashes will be sprinkled in the Pacific Ocean. Although we will miss her – especially her dazzling smile – she will remain forever in our hearts. Jessica is survived by her adoptive mother, Maggie Peil of Overland Park, KS; three biological brothers Justin Lyle, John Clark, and James Walter of the Kansas City Metro area; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends in Kansas and Missouri. Jessica was preceded in death by her biological mother Angela Lyle. Jessica was a very giving person, sharing whatever she had with anyone who asked. To celebrate her giving spirit we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Hillcrest Covenant Church Benevolence Fund 8801 Nall Ave Prairie Village, KS 66207-2199

Not a day that passes by that I don’t think about you, your kind heart and beautiful smile. God blessed me with enough time to get a chance to know you and introduce you to your biological family. You taught me to appreciate life. Live you Jelly Bean
