Jay Morris used to be my cousin’s husband. He was most kind and generous when he gave a warm welcome to my sister and me during our stay at the Morris family in 1980 and 1981.
I remember him as a loving and gentle father. He broadened my horizon, and gave me the opportunity to get to know another continent, for I am from Düsseldorf, Germany. I will never forget the experience of spending the summer at the edge of Southern Rocky Mountains, fishing my first trout and having my first authentic Mexican meal. It may have influences my later decision to study English and American literature and certainly has influenced my being an enthusiastic cineast with a taste for American films.

Dr. Morris will be deeply missed. Loved his encouraging text just out of the blue. He was so uplifting and positive. He was a great boss and friend to me. He loved God and his country! He bragged about his wife, girls and grands! His smile was contagious his hugs were big. My sincere condolences to Ida and his family. Praying for comfort during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of meeting Dr. Morris when I was visiting my mom, JoAnn Brockman. He was the kindest gentleman. He helped me with a toothache while I was traveling. My mom worked with Dr. Morris through Neo-Life. She always spoke so highly of him and had the utmost respect for him. The world has lost another great person to this horrible virus. I will be keeping your family in my prayers.

I worked with Dr. Morris years ago but will always remember his contagious spirit and smile, always making us laugh and smile. However more so than his giving spirit is the love he never ceased to display and talk about daily of his beloved daughters and grandchildren. Dr. Morris was such a very proud father who loved his daughters with every thing in him and was willing to go to the ends of the Earth for them. You will be missed but taken care of in the Kingdom of God. God bless you Dr. Morris.
