Kansas City – James (Jimmy) Hill, 80, of Lawrence, KS., passed peacefully, on Nov. 21. He was born to the late James and Bridgie Hill, on June 15, 1942, in Topeka, KS. Jimmy graduated from Lawrence High in 1960, and received a BA in Business from Fort Hayes State in 1964. He married the late Annie Zieske Corte in 1960. They had two sons, and lived in Overland Park, KS. Jimmy worked in construction and manufacturing until he retired in 2007. Jimmy was an active member and part time employee at Eagle Bend Golf Club in Lawrence. Jimmy is survived by two children, Alan Hill and Stephen Hill of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jimmy will be loved and missed, always and forever, by all family members and friends.
