JD Dominguez, 59, Troy, Kansas passed away at his home, March 14, 2011. Visitation will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, Friday, March 18, 2011 at the Troy Christian Church and the Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30 pm, Saturday, March 19 at the Troy Community Center on Last Chance Road. Another Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Safford, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Troy Christian Church or Kendallwood Hospice.

JD was born in Morenci, Arizona and raised in Thatcher, Arizona. He met his wife, Jana, while working for VisionQuest, a program for juvenile delinquents. They moved to St. Joseph, Missouri in 1989 with their 1 year old son, Andrew, where JD owned and operated NOVUS Windshield Repair. Their second son, Daniel, was born in 1992 and in January, 1994 they moved to Troy, Kansas, where they raised their children. JD was owner and operator of Northwest RV and Mini Storage in St. Joseph, Missouri. He was a member of the Troy Christian Church and past member of Sertoma Club in St. Joseph. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He took great pride in his summer lawn care and his winter Christmas light decorations. He was a dedicated father and supported his son’s high school activities, as well as their current college endeavors. He and his wife were married for 23 years. JD was known for his kindness and willingness to help others. JD was preceded in death by his parents, Saturnino and Juanita Dominguez. Survivors include his wife, Jana, and sons Andrew and Daniel of Troy; son Greg of Safford, Arizona; one brother, Henry; three sisters, Frances, Rachael and Lupe; two grandchildren, Dillan and Austin; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and his Aunt Cande Molina, all of Arizona.

    am so sorry about your guys lost he was a good man he all way make me laugh during school games and when him and his wife did after prom in 2006
