Georgia Ann “Ronnie Condos” Simone

Georgia Ann “Ronnie Condos” Simone 71, a life long residence of KCMO, passed away December 28, 2017 and is with Our Lord & SaviorJesus Christ. 
 
She is survived by her son, Michael Phillips and her grandchildren Alexandria and Christopher Phillips, her sisters and brothers-in-law Georgia and Michael Ferretti of St Louis,  Christine and Barry Johnson of Lenexa, KS, sister-in-law Connie Condos, KCMO, her nephew & nieces Peter Ferretti, Cassandra Brigdon, Angela and Christina Condos, her cousins, the Spartan Family and friend, Fred Seely of KCMO. Preceding her in death, husband Thomas A. Simone, her parents George “Harry” and Dorothy Condos, her brother Nick Condos, her sons Nick and Stephen Panos and nephew Marcus Summers.     
 
Ronnie was born 5-26-46 and was a graduate of Glennon High School of KCMO. She was very proud of her Greek Heritage. She spoke Greek and mastered Greek entrees and desserts.  As a mother, she and her son Stephen maneuvered the early challenges that the medical community experienced with those diagnosed with Diabetes. She had an interest in art and was awarded a Hallmark Scholarship from Glennon High School. Throughout her life, she had cared for and loved animals and her love for them was contagious. She had the ability to find humor, even in the most difficult challenges of life.  She was compassionate, kind to others, funny & loved family and friends. At the end of her life, she dealt with cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease. She will be missed by her family and friends.    
 
A Private Service will be at the Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America www.charitynavigator.org

    What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. This picture of Ronnie is just exactly as I remember her; with her beautiful smile and kind eyes. She was a very special part of my childhood and I will never forget her. Our sincere condolences to Michael, Alexandria, and Christopher. A special shout out to Chris for your loving care of your sister. You’ve endured so much sadness in your life. It’s time for you and Barry to really enjoy all that’s good in this life. I love you.
