George E. Hicks Jr
George E. Hicks Jr. passed away quietly in hospital on June 24, 2022, while being treated for multiple medical conditions that could not be overcome. Thankfully, it was not a prolonged process and he is now at peace. He lived 61 years of a very good life loved by good friends and family.
Born December 5, 1960, he spent his entire life in the Kansas City area. He loved conversion vans, being a jokester, and cookies. He was known at Lakeview Village where he spent the last few years, for his funny t-shirt collection. He could be charming, clever, humorous, stubborn and irascible all at the same time. He will be missed by family and friends alike.
He was preceded in death by his parents George E. Hicks Sr. and Phyllis M. Hicks. He is survived by his sisters, Jeannine Hicks of Kansas City, Margie Vaughan and her husband Bob of Ruidoso, NM, his niece, Jaime Nair of Austin and her family, husband Harish and three children Adia, Milena and Kirin.
