Fernand Roy sounds like he was a wonderful man. There is certainly some proof that he was in the form of his daughter, Andrea, and his grandson, Gabriel, whom I have been blessed to work with for the past four years. They are both smart, dedicated, fun and caring and reflect so well on the generation that came before. My deepest sympathies for their loss.

Fern, was as energetic and cheerful a man as I’ve ever met. Nothing seemed to get him down; must have been the Canuck stock and the Depression era school of hard knocks. God bless him. I’m can see Claire welcoming him at the pearly gates with some sucre-a-creme or pickled eggs. My sympathy goes to Andrea, David and Paul. Take care not to fall too far from the parent tree.

Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. I have many fond memories with the Roy family having grown up with Paul. The Roy parents made everyone feel like they were family. Very special people who left a wealth of memories to their “extended” family members. God bless

My condolence. I was blessed to work with Ferd many years. He saved my bacon with his good work often. He tught me to smell the roses and savor moments away from the office over lunch so that we could come back fresh and be productve. We enjoyed culture together such as the Nelson Art Gallery and would stop on the way back from lunch at the Russel tover outlet . He was a grat joy in life and I pray to know him in heaven. He was devoted to God, family and work and we found him at Claire’s side at the hosptal showing his love and devotion. America needs more people like Fed Roy.God bless your family.

So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. I will always remember his smile and the twinkle in his eye. Wonderful memories of his home baked bread at Christmas time. Also great memories of all the volunteering and nice things he did for people. He will be greatly missed. Thinking of you all. Much love, Cathy
