Elizabeth Ann Evans
Elizabeth Ann Evans, 58, formerly of North Port, Florida, passed away peacefully at home in Liberty, Missouri, on September 4, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Elizabeth was born in Salem, Ohio to parents William and Charlotte (Ellis) Taylor. The second oldest of five siblings, she grew up in Sebring, Ohio and graduated from Sebring McKinley High School. She later moved to Florida, and as a single mom, selflessly devoted herself to raising and home-schooling her daughter, Krissy.
Elizabeth attended Englewood Bible Church in Englewood, FL for many years, where she loved singing in the Praise Band and volunteering at the Food Pantry.
Elizabeth was a caring and giving person whose friends will remember as a good listener ready to help others with their problems.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Scott Evans, of Liberty, MO; her daughter, Kristine, son-in-law Louis, and granddaughter Makayla Cerbone of Port Charlotte, FL; her brother, Richard Taylor, of Columbus, OH; and three sisters, Rachel Wilson, of Windsor, OH; Pam Dorrough, of Saratoga, CA; and Kathy Vernon, of Marysville, WA.
The family expresses great appreciation to the staff at Liberty Hospital Hospice for their compassion and care.
