E. W. “Bud” Whiteaker

Bud Whiteaker, 68, of Wister, Oklahoma, died July 19, 2011 at the Kansas University Hospital.

He was born October 27, 1942 in Cameron, Missouri, son of Lloyd Everett and Geraldine Whiteaker.

Everett retired in 1999 after working as a conductor for Kansas Ciy Southern Railroad for 31 years. He was a Shriner and was a member of Mirza Shrine in Pittsburg, KS. Bud loved golfing, bowling and horse back riding.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Pam and Sam Sutton, Atchison, Kansas son and daughter-in-law Doug and Shari Preston, Liberty, Missouri, sister, Carolyn Petty, Raytown, Missouri, two nephews, Mike Hull, Raytown, Missouri and David Hull, Roeland Park, Kansas,  ten grandchildren, one great-grandson and another soon to arrive.
